About Us
The Trust's Pharmacy Department plays a vital role in delivery of drug trials across all disciplines, but as a clinical discipline in it's own right we can also host pharmacist-lead research studies. These can include studies looking at effective prescribing, accountability and other such service and treatment improving innovations when dealing with medication.
Alongside the Main Pharmacy at York and Scarborough the Trust host a Clinical Trials Pharmacy, Ascetics Unit, Oncology Satellite Service, and close links to community prescribers.
Our Clinical Trial Pharmacy team hold expertise in the storage, dispensing and management of a whole variety of trials including those of an early-phase nature, ascetics and vaccines.
