Radiology

As a diagnostic support service Radiology covers a whole host of studies treating a variety of conditions, but our research also looks at Radiology as its own discipline with Radiologist and Radiographer-led research.

This can include radiological interventions as a part of treatment such as a surgery and within nuclear medicine.  As well as looking to improve our diagnostic services for earlier and more accurate detection of conditions such as cancer, injury or neurological conditions.

Additionally, the Trust has established R&D contacts with regional partners for the delivery of additional imaging and interventional nuclear medicine requirements as required.
